Why I practice

women’s physical therapy

Vitality icon white.png

In physical therapy school, I learned about the evolving specialty of physical therapy for pelvic health. This exciting new field combined my interest in the human body with my desire to help people improve their quality of life. I find it rewarding to treat patients who deal with incontinence, lymphedema, sexual dysfunction, pelvic pain, and side effects of cancer.  I look forward to bettering people’s health, wellness, and vitality.

I’ve been working with Katherine Ireland, PT, DPT, for a couple of months now to resolve some ongoing women’s issues resulting from childbirth. I can say that I have noticed a significant improvement with treatment and am hopeful that my condition will continue to improve. After having previously obtained treatment for this problem at a large teaching institution and not seeing any results, I am glad I found Vitality Women’s Physical Therapy & Wellness.
