Service Description

Description: Welcome to an introduction to strength training for girls ages 12-15 yo. This education-based class will focus on the fundamentals of safe and healthy exercise from warm up to exercise to cool down. The strengthening component of the class will be taught in a circuit-style format. Education will focus on guiding new exercisers to learn fundamental movement patterns, breathing strategies and principles of strength training as well as topics surrounding fitness such as fluid intake and nutrition. Vitality will give you the tools to feel empowered to be able to exercise on your own. What is included in the program: 1 hour of small group fitness class lead by a personal trainer 15 minute talk/lecture by a women’s health physical therapist or personal trainer 15 minute Q&A/socialization with class participants
